About this series:
So far in this series, I have finished three works, all based on children's literary works. One is an illustration of The Owl and the Pussycat poem, which Garrison Keillor did, if I remember right, recently, as a neat song. Another is an illustration of the Vachel Lindsay (sp?) poem, Yet Gentle the Griffin be (which was in a favorite childhood literary anthology/encyclopedia). Another is an illustration of a song I used to sing and play when a child, Puff the Magic Dragon (made famous by Peter, Paul and Mary). All three are mixed media (pencil, pen/ink, Copic markers, colored pencil).

Without his life-long friend, puff could not be brave,
